i finally took my car to the dealer. about 2 months ago my car had some grind noise from the brakes in the front. they said the rotor had bad surface area and also changed the pads. well all was ok for about 1 week. i think they did not adjust the back drums since it started to deep in the front like there is no brakes in the back. took it this saturday and they said all is fine. on a close inspection i notice the pad is almost gone, since it seems inward from the caliper. i just do not know what to do... i might fix it myself but i do not want to pay for something the dealer has to fix. i know the waranty should cover the brakes in teh first 12k. they said it does not. also the car pulls left when brakeing and i think is the same reason. they also said the car has not allignment problems as of now but i did nto see them even checking or showing me anything. they did not even provide the percent on brakes. i got close 10k on the car. the pad/discs were fixed around 4500.

That sucks man. I know what it feels like though, for sure. Happens to the best of us!Having to do much at all with the brakes at your kind of mileage, there's something up... And actually that's one very positive thing I have with mine - I'm a hair under 50K and still on the original everything for the brakes.* So if my car can go that long, yours certainly should be able to. Sounds like those guys at the dealer owe you a new set of pads, turn or repalce the rotors, and find out why they're already worn... Definitely need to check the calipers as well...As I recently found, the squeaky wheel can sometimes get the grease...... So you may need to gripe about it.Good luck to ya man.... It's a nightmare out there sometimes but keep the faith if you can (cp is notorious for not following his own advice.)... *Now that I've jinxed myself with the brakes, it may not be a bad idea to price out new brake parts.
