I like to try to do things myself and want to flush the coolant system. I have done this before using the Prestone Flush Kit. You have to attach the inlet adapter to the heater hose that returns back to the engine. On the Vibe it is tough to tell which heater hose this is. Has anyone out there done this? And could you give me a hand by pointing out which is the proper heater hose to splice the inlet adapter to? thanks ....
Well not sure what your using to flush the system and I have always used a machine when ever I did them back in my tech days. Now the best way to tell which direction coolant is going is feel with your hand which hose gets hot and which one is cold. Obviously the hot one is flowing to the rad and the cold one into the vehicle. You'll want to tap into the cold one because you do not want to send send cold coolant through where hot coolant is coming out. To do a proper coolant flush, you need the thermostate open, so putting cold coolant against that will just make it closed and you''ll never get anywhere lol.Now I never did any coolant service work to the Vibe so... not sure which hose is the right one.

Thanks Mavrik that will help out. The type of flush kit made by Prestone uses pressure from a garden type hose combined with the pressure in your car's coolant system to flush out the radiator. It is not a high pressure flush...
