So it's not really the GT-R prototype, it's just a badge.

your sig needs correction, the '05 is not 180 hp, I believe it is like 173. The R badge, well, to each his own. Good purchase on the GT though, if it is a GT.

Is it really a GT though? The GT-R badge seems to be all one piece...

It is not a GT because of the fact that it's same GT-R I've seen a billion Grand AM's and Civics.Inder

So you removed your factory GT badge to add an aftermarket badge to "make your car faster"?

Post a pic of the side of the car and the engine bay and then maybe we'll believe it you even have a GT!

Geez, why is everyone flamin him? He came clean to us in that other thread. Plus he's given nothing but praise for all that we do here...yet people continue to flame. "Flameration Vibe! Where you will get flamed for having the same car that the rest of us do!"Thanks for sharing the pics dude. Good choice on getting the Vibe.

I think it was just because of the approach he took.Yup. Its a GT! Now you need to get a CAI and Cat-Back to get closer to that 180HP!

This isn't even trying to be a flame, but it will probably sound like one...... Shouldn't you get the matching GT-R tags for the sides?

If you really want GT-R badges...you might want to have GrafxWerks make you the "-R" to add to the side of the stock GT badges, since the GT-R concept had the same GT as the regular GT...

http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=17419Be careful about the photo size, however. Most of yours are larger than should be included inline in a post. Please resize your images (no larger than 640x480) before linking them.

You can't link to things that are on your hard drive...you have to upload them either as an attachment and then copy the link and post the picture inline, or upload them to someplace like photobucket.com, which is free. Also, the GrafxWerks site is at
http://www.grafxwerks.com

Please resize your pictures before posting them...raw digital camera photos are too large both pixel-wise and byte-wise to post on the internet for a mandatory download on any web page.

If you have a editing program like: Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, or possible even MS Paint, you should be able to resize the photos.Or you may just be able to change the setting on your camera to take pics at a smaller size.

We've made our fair share of stabs at other cars (ie Civics, yotas, etc) toting an "R" or "Type-S" non-oem badge. It's only fair that we drop the hammer on our own as well

Quote, originally posted by platnum43 »anyways i guess i got off to a rough start with you guys anyways i still here to stay no matter how much i get flamed a good sense of humor is a valuable thing. We had one member here pull a crafty and convincing april fools joke that a lot of people (including me) fell for, we forgive pretty quickly (once we get over the anger )I think you should leave the GT-R badge in the back, but remove the GT badge from the side. That way when you pull up along side some civic at the light, they'll think "it's just a base, no problem" and then as you pull away from them they'll be thinking "that steathy bstrd, he had a GT-R! No wonder he spanked my car!"
