I managed to get myself out of the house and go to my pontiac dealer today after I went to the doctor. I picked out a Vibe to get, Its a black GT with the sports apearance pack. Its the only GT anyone in the area is gonna get in for 6 months so i guess if i want to have a rare car again that'll be the way to go. I took'r for a drive and i do like the xtra power in th GT. Now all I have to do is wait on insurance ppl to hurry and write me my stupid check so I can drive something other than the gas guzzling SS Silverado.

Is the SS Silverado your other car??? Those do suck a LOT of gas, by the way. Good luck on getting another Vibe . . . but if you decide you want something with more pep, head over to your friendly Saturn dealer and pick up a Redline

Thanks - I love the thing. I would've liked black, too, but they had red & silver. Plus, red was new for 2005, and there are only a handful of them out there, fully 90% of Redlines are blue, black, or silver, so it's nice to stand out of the crowd. If I COULD'VE I would've gotten white; my friend Jamie bought a white Ion quad coupe and it's sexy.

uhm a vibe GT rare? uhm ok...

When you live in the middle of no where the GT is rare. I've only seen one other GT here, and it had out of state plates.Probably about 6-10 other vibes in the area is all though.

My dad talked to the salesman he's used for about 8-10 years and he is setting the GT in the back lot for me until I get my insurance stuff straightened out. Yes Vibe GT's are very rare around here, even Vibes themselves are rare here. I'v only seen 4 vibes total since I purchased my vibe a year and a half ago and two of them were from different states. The dealers here don't even order monotones. about 1-2 vibes in each lot are monotones and the rest are 2-tones. luckily one dealer had a GT and they said its the only one hitting SW missouri for quite a while. As for the question about the SS, yes the gas gluzzing mother of a truck is my other car that my father and I purchased together when they 1st came out as a little project truck He's done alot under the hood of that truck and I did a lot of body work to it. We set it up to use on the strip against friends of mines ricers but it only gets 7mpg. I can't wait to get back behind the wheel of a vibe, i fell in love with the car after toying around with my old one.
