Yes, but I'll not say this is a recommendation. I used it in a 1986 Ranger with 200,000 miles and a rather nasty lifter tick and the tick did quiet down. That said, I can't say it made any other difference in the truck. I would think that in a perfectly running engine there's probably no call for it's use as it would do little or nothing.

I used it on my 1995 Grand Am Gt when it had about 80000 miles on it, and i didn't notice any difference

Waste of time and $$ on low mileage jap engine. This is designed to alleviate smoking from worn rings, cylinder walls, and valve guides/seats. Spend a little more on a good quality sythetic oil like Mobil 1 ....

It's actually a better gas additive than oil additive.

I actually used it more for my nitro-powered cars. It was a great air filter lubricant for it.
