My new Vibe

Post by vibe-anator »

Today I picked up my New Vibe. Moon & Tunes, Power Group, 16" wheels. I opted for the two-tone because I live on a dirt road I am so sick and tired of the gas prices and decided to go w/ the Vibe.My main vehicle before this is a 2000 3/4 4x4 v10 that takes $70 to fill the tank! Now I can take trips up north for a 1/3 of the cost I "think" I got a great price on it. Do you guys mention prices on this site?

Thanks all.I do have some questions about my vibe hopefully someone here can help me with.1) The low beam headlights I feel should be aimed a little higher. "about" 50 ft of the road is lit, but because of the way the lamps are designed its a very defined line between light and dark. Can I adjust the low beams up a bit without effecting the high beams?2) Can I add a couple more coin holders on the left side of the steering wheel? (pop out the two cover plates next to the stock coin holder) and add two more?

If I got screwed, I hope someone would tell me. I picked two vibes up on 6/10 - got rid of an Escape and a Contour on trade-ins.Paid $16k for each. Mine came in at $300 more because it was built later in the year. welcome aboard.

Welcome to GenVibe! You can have the dealership check your lights if you would like. I thought the same thing when I first bought mine so I had them take a look. As far as the coin holder goes, I'm not sure if you can add anything over there.

silver two tone, still the best looking color option of them all (see if you can figure out what color mine is )I never use the coin holder. It seems like coins rattle a little in it, and I had some jump out once when I hit a nasty pothole, but I keep it because it is easy to pull out , then I can reach a finger in and pop out the other things in that same spot. You can get additional ones, they would just plug in instead of the blanks, but I don't know what the part number is or what they cost
