Thanks to damronj for the great deal on the springs and the Sub Vibe R for the install I have joined the lowered club. The car looks awesome and the handling is fantastic. There is a strange noise though coming from the drivers side that I will have to get checked out but overall am very satisifed Vibe before drop:Vibe after drop Wheels gap before drop:Wheels after drop

Man, I'm well on my way to being the only one that's still stock height...LOL. As Mike said last night, with all the dropped Vibes around in the hotel parking lot, it looks like mine has a lift kit.

Don't feel alone. I'm still at stock height (and will always be). I prefer it taller.

The drop is not that radical. The front is dropped 1.75 inches and the back 1.25 inches so it is still tall.

Well another reason I won't be dropping mine though is its a lease (up in another year).

Thanks everyone! Yes POLO I did paint the calipers with Duplicolor which I purchased for 9.99$ at Crappy Tire. I used paint thinner to clean the calipers.Sputnik I know you are not bashing me Tecton you still have time

I might be joining the club too. After the MI Supermeet I am on the modding kick again. I will probably draw the line at new rims, but a small drop would help in the ascetics.

Congrats Sam! I'll be rejoining the stock height club shortly as I keep hitting the front end of the kit bumper on the ground. It now has 1 small (2in?) crack on the passenger side and a growing crack(2in 1 up, 1in to 1 side of that crack!) on the driver's side! I may just take the bumpers off until I get them painted and the side skirts and fenders fitted anyway. That will give me more time to either get the drop done or figure something else out. Sorry to hijack your thread, Sam!!! Congrats again! Looks great!

looks like mine!! give me some feedback after you drive it on Ste-Catherine St or, worst, on Notre-Dame!! Up to here, I love my drop too, and I'm starting to thing that neons will do a great job to complete it... I think it really worth the price for the improve in handling and look to lower the car, for those that care about that! see you a month!!

Looks nice Sam and welcome to the dropped club. Give it a couple weeks for the springs to settle and you might lose that noise from the front.

Well I found out that I need to replace the stabilizer link bar since that is what is loose. Funny story to tell about this, I go to a local shop that I trust here, he tells me to go to the dealer to get the part (no jobber part) so I first go to a Toyota dealer (closest to my location) Now, maybe he didn't understand my request so I asked him twice and he quoted my 144$ for that piece. Thanks but no thanks I tell him. I drive to a Pontiac dealership and get quoted 48$ for that piece! (removed)???? Thanks everyone for the kind words. I really do like the way it handles. TheWhite I am looking forward to driving down Ste. Catherines lol

That releases the tension (load) from the bar and makes it very easy to remove.

I had to order the piece which took 24 hours to get here so tomorrow hopefully the clacking noise ends
