This is interesting, though I'm not sure how enjoyable it would really be over the phone...heh.OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Sprint Corp. and Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. have announced a deal that will allow some Sprint customers to receive satellite radio over their cell phones, possibly sometime this summer. The agreement, announced Tuesday, is the first between a satellite radio company and a wireless company and expands Sprint's wireless entertainment package. The Overland Park-based company already offers some radio channels, live TV, games and TV clips. Its current radio offerings include channels from MSpot and Music Choice, each of which costs $5.95 a month.New York-based Sirius charges $12.95 a month for more than 120 channels, and the service requires a special radio and an exterior antenna.Sprint and Sirius still are working on pricing and other details. Sprint is considering adding channels ranging from Broadway show tunes to rock and hip-hop, Sirius said, but there's no word on whether shock-jock Howard Stern will be available through the service once he joins Sirius.
