Ok to start off I just finished installing a pair of halogen lights with blue tint to them. While installing these lights I accidently touched the light bulb. Will this make the life of the lights alot shorter?

with any halogen or xenon bulb, you NEVER want to touch the bulb. the oils on your skins get on the glass, and create hot spots, which can cause the bulbs to crack, or worse, shatter and explode.you should remove the bulb, use some rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball to clean the bulb, then reinstall it (making sure not to touc it again).

yeah, bulbs do explode if you touch them. the temperature get's extrmely hot there. the oil actually starts to cook. boil, and POP! lolbut on another note. i have the "eurodesigns" set. the box did not ahve a volts reading. i don't know what kind of juice they are sucking out. on my last car. not the same brand, but the bulbs actually melted my light harness. dealer repaired it free. this car on the other hand... i don't know. watch out!

Yep, right about that... The wiring was designed only for 60 watt/55 watt 9003 bulbs, I beleive... If you exceed that rating, it is possible to overheat the wiring and even start a fire..... Best to stick with stock wattages unless you want to rewire the headlight system.
