anyone know if it's possible to install two decks, well a deck and an in-dash monitor to be more specific. I want to basically have them both installed one on top of the other???

get measurements first. see if it would physically posible to put both the head units on top and still fit the dash peice. i think it would be possible. the hardest part would be finding brackets of making them probably.

Yes.The dash kit for the Vibe has provisions for both single-din radios, and mounting two radios. Technically you don't need it, but it fills in the gaps. The radios would be ISO mounted, meaning, screwed into the existing mounts that're on the side of the stock radio. They'll fit fine. If you want to fill in the edges, get the dash kit, or come up with a creative way to hide the space on the sides.

Please..just do yourself a favor and spend $16 on the right wiring harness.. Cutting into the stock wiring very often leads to problems..

Well, if you're not using the stock speaker wiring, you'd actually need four wires.+12v batt+12v ACCGround+12v Antenna power (if you want radio reception)I can't seem to find the paperwork at the moment, but i'll try to find it.

thanks..basically what i'm trying to do is have the monitor mounted above the deck with a ps2 in the glove box. I would have only the video going to the monitor while the audio goes to the deck as it has an auxilary input, so really all I need to do is just mount and power the monitor. Does that make sense to anyone else other than me??

Well, if you get the harness to hook up the deck, then just splice into the harness for power for the screen. And up until now, you hadn't been specific about what you wanted to do.. so..We've had a lot of times when someone will ask something vague, we give them an answer, then they B**ch because something messed up..so we're a little paranoid when it comes to wiring questions that don't make sense to us.. my apologies..I still can't find my wiring diagrams, but if I remember correctly. +12v and Ground are the thick wires on one side, and switched 12v is directly next to the +12v. If you have a multimeter or test light you can verify that. I believe one of the 12v wires is gray...that's all I can remember offhand.
