I'd paint them to match the car, if I had a fusion Vibe and was going to paint my calipers. It's a bright enough color that it would stand out, and I can't really think of anything that would really compliment fusion except silver.

yeah that's what i figured as much.. silver i'm just concerned might look too crowded with the silver wheels.. not rich enough to have the awesome wheels like most people have

Heck, I'd be happy with just the stock alloys instead of the cheesy wheel covers. But yeah, if you want them to stand out, I'd go with fusion. JMHO.

I'd go with a very shiny Black.

Buy 2 of the brush on kind. Mix your own color! Thats what I plan on doing.

Hmm that it a very interesting idea. I never thought of doing it that way. I might come up with some very cool color or a big mess. Does that type of paint mix well or will it be a disaster..

Is that a mix you made? If not do you know what color that is? I'v also been trying to decide a color for mine and thats kinda nice. I was wanting to do Silver accents outside my car, (windshield wipers, calipers, graphics, body kit) but everyone told me silver/orange would be a nasty combo so now i gotta decide a new color scheme.

No it's a product by plasti-kote. it is called kustom effex. they have green to blue to purple, gold to green and copper to green. I got copper to green. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. pictures don't do them justice. they look awesome in the sunlight. I think I'm going to paint all the gun metal accents inside the interior and my engine cover that color also. plan on spending a whole day for the calipers...a lot of masking.

I was at super duper wal mart yesterday and saw that they now have house of kolor paints in pearls and candies. they had a tangerine and tangelo color. really sharp.

Niceness. What did that Kustom Effex paint set you back? I can't find pricing on it or anyone who carries it.

wal- mart has it. it is a three step process. the black base costs about $4.00, the color cost almost $9.00 and the clear coat cost about $4.00. the bad thing is, is that the cans are a little smaller than regular cans.

Wow not bad at all. Was there much left after you finished the calipers? I'm thinking of diong my front calipers and rear drums with this stuff.

you might need to buy a double batch. I used all of my actual color with both sets of calipers. I still had a little black and clear left over.

Ok, thanks. I'v also got a pearl yellow 2004 Harley Davidson Herritage Classic with blue/purple metalflake and tear drop that I'm thinking of painting the brakes on using that blue to purple.
