The Official "Price You Paid For Gas" Thread

There are a whole bunch of threads floating around regarding gas prices, but I thought it would be cool to start a new one. Everyone post your most recent gas prices here, and the city/state you bought in. Would be neat to see if we can spot trends in different regions of the country.Be sure to include station name, date, location, price paid, and which grade you purchased (regular, ultimate, 89, 91, etc). That way, if one of your fellow Viber's on here lives nearby, they can reap the benefits of your discovery! And just for ***** and giggles, if you have a camera phone or digi cam handy, nab a shot of the prices. Credit to Joatmon for that idea from a former thread...I'll start.Wawa - Howell4690 Route 9Howell, NJ 07731 Price Paid: $1.939 for regular on 5/27/05Total fill cost: A pleasant $16 US. In the words of Quagmeyer, "Awwwwwwwwwww riiiiiiight!"

http://www.michigangasprices.com ?Fuel at the local Mobil Stations are about $2.05 a gallon right now. I am putting in about $35.00 dollars every 3 days or so. Some states have those "gas wars" sites that are accurate and beneficial. Sadly, NJ only has one or two that don't really cover much of any of the state, except the extremes...For those like me, that don't have a formal "gas price" web site, this is a nice alternative.

In Ottawa, Ont. it's .79/L $2.38 us/us gal. for regular 87. The price could go up to $2.70 in a hour or a day and back down again the next day, it fluctuates that much. We have a web site

Last night around north central KY, gas was $1.889 for 87 octane. Back home in southern Indiana, I paid $2.149 for 93 octane.Today in KY, gas is $2.149 for 87 octane, yet the station next to it was $1.899. Guess the other station didn't get the memo or hasn't raised prices yet. Can't remember what it was in Indiana today.I think they've got it backwards in Kentucky - one should raise gas prices when a long weekend starts, not when it ends. Go figure....

$2.32/g for 91 octane. And with the enthenol this place sells 91 cheaper than 87. I don't think there 91 is the best gas but I don't get any engine knocking so I stick with it unless I'm going on a long trip.

just yesterday paid $2.34/gallon for premium...and that was Costco gas...the regular retailers like shell, etc are around $2.50/gallon...you see, here in Florida we have no state income tax....so they just make up the difference with an absorbatant gas tax...sheesh...

I got stuck paying $2.99/gal for 91 gas on my recent trip up to the Bay Area. It was the Chevron @ the 46fwy exit off the 5fwy. I'm sure that Chevron was somewhat of a geographic monopoly though.

Yeah, I paid $2.799 yesterday as well. Just a week ago it was $2.429 at the same Costco! Cost me close to $30 to fill up now! I'm going to be dropping my car off today to get repaired and will be driving a rental for the week. I hope I don't get a truck or SUV! They gave me an Explorer one time, I hated driving it and the mileage sucked.
