I am trying to access the compartment below the shifter; how do i remove the silver trim below the radio? i tried pulling on it but it did not seem to remove easily like the trim around the radio. i did try pushing on the clips on the corners but no luck. i am afraid if i don't remove it just right i may break the clips.

That chrome trim is really stubborn the first time to try to remove it. I found that pulling from the bottom then "peeling" it up worked well when I installed my XM receiver.Excellent Dismantling the center console How To:http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=5940
