What do you need to know exactly? Are you adding a horn? Are you adding a larger horn?Basically the stock horn gets ground off the mounting point, and positive off the wire going to it..

Perfect! Thanks for your help. I am having a strange problem with my aftermarket horn install. After laying on the new horns for about 10 seconds, the high tone horn dies. If I wait a few seconds and hit the horn again, they both work again--for about another 10 seconds. I've run my own 12 gauge wiring for power and ground to a 30 amp relay (Radio Shack), and used the existing horn wire as the trigger for the new relay. The horns are wired in parallel, both being fed from the same 12 gauge wire. Any suggestions by the electrically proficient, or painfully experienced, would be appreciated. Chris

can't think of anything other than perhaps some sort of overload cutout in the horn itself. If you run a wire to the horn straight from the battery, does the horn blow indefinitely or still have the 10 second cut out?ten seconds is a long time to lean on the horn
