What about used rims from another car Sunfire? for winter?

Just wondering if you can't use used rims from a Sunfire or Corolla or Celica etc. for winter. Am seriously consdiering snows..

Rims from Cavalier/Sunfire fit on a Vibe (in 15" only, 14" do not fit, not space enough for the calliper, I tried it). They have the same bolt patthern (5x100).You can also go with Corolla 2003 rims. Corolla 2002 and older have 4 bolt rims.

Also wondering about 16" alloys from a Sunfire GT or a Cavalier.. I saw a Sunfire GT Coupe today and it had 16" alloys. I'm wondering if they are compatible. There don't seem to be a lot of rims out there.. Can you or anyone else advise?

The bolt pattern are the same on all Cavalier/Sunfire. If you want 16" from them, it will fit as well as 15"

There's tons of technical data and surveys on snows as well as summer and 4 season tires (plus over 50 wheels for Vibes!) on
http://www.tirerack.com , at least for the brands they sell.
