For those of you with aftermarket wheels, what size do you have and how do you like them? I think the 19" is the perfect size as far as looks go but I am very curious about ride quality and michigan potholes. Let me know what you guys have and how you like em.

I'm using 18" Tenzo R Mean 6 on my Vibe with Dunlop Z Rated Tires. The Rims looks good, but I should have not gotten 45 low profiles, makes the rims looks like 17" rims instead. 19" would probably have been better, but the rubber would have costed me an arm and a leg. As for pot holes, make sure not to get too low of a profile, I've already had to get two of my rims repaired due to a pot hold that dented two of my rims causing one tire to flat. Expensive thing to repair.

I have 18-225-40s and think they look perfect. I personally don't like the look of the 19s, not enough sidewall for me. Yeah the big 19" wheels look nice, but I think it looks like you're driving on rubber bands and your ride quality will probably suffer.

Yeah those 18's look great on your car, it is pretty much a must to lower it to get the right look. I think that is the way I will go. Thanks.

I have 19" Axis Spiders with Fuzion Zr1 tires (not positive on the size right off the top of my head, but I want to say 245/45/19).

How does it ride on the 19's? Any damaged wheels?

I have 18" Axis reverbs with Kumho 712's and you can defiantely feel the road alot more. My rims are light about 18 pounds each so there is a deffinate difference.

275/40s on 17" x 10"s. They ride better than my 195 x 15" snows but are maybe a bit of overkill...

They, in conjunction with drop springs, have made the ride quite harsher than the stock wheels with the stock springs. Damage-wise though, none there. As long as you get high quality strong wheels you shouldn't have to worry about damaging them unless you go plowing through pothole fields at 90mph!
