If my memory serves me, Best Buy in Canada is owned by Future Shop. Somtimes they have deals but compare the flyers and you'll see they sell the same stuff. Also, let me guess, the new Best Buy is really, really close to a Future Shop(?).Ciao!

I was at the Best Buy on Coventry Road in Ottawa recently and half the shelves were empty, it looks like they are going under. It is never busy like Future Shop. In fact whenever I go to Canadian Tire next to it, the parking lot is empty other than employees cars.

I rarely go to Best Buy when the parking lot isn't 3/4+ full. There are at least a dozen of them locally (I'm too lazy to go check their website for an actual count), and every one of them is crawling with people whenever I go. Not that I'd trust them for any electronics advice, but that's where I make most of my music/movie purchases.

the best buy in anchorage is one of the busiest stores in the US. i go there alot for various items, but buy movies and cd's mostly at walmart because it's cheaper.

Future shops have small tight aisles and annoying commissionsed sales people who jump on you as soon as they see you arrive.
