For those who haven't caught on, the tie down points that go in the tracks are "Bungie Buddies" from the motorcycle world. Of course the Vibe uses a special nut and plastic holder to keep them sliding in the track. The nut looks like nothing more than a piece of metal that has been drilled and tapped. My local Toyota dealer wants $14 EACH. Get them here for $12 for four.http://www.aerostich.com/produ...age=1
Yeah, GM is just ridiculous. I went to get the nuts at the tops of the front struts under the hood and I think they wanted $6 FOR EACH NUT! I thought it was for all 6! Even $1 a piece is just stupid!
