Is there a seperate amplifier running the sub? Or can I run a line converter to run a "Real Amp".

That's a good question...AFAIK, no one has yet to determine if there's a varying amp setup in the 05's with the sub or not. The question has been, whether the sub runs off the same amp (and if that amp is the same as the 03/04 MY amp), or if it runs straight off the radio...When you find out, report back!

I think someone said it was controlled by the M&T amp under the seat... If you can pull the sub out of the back, there should be probably something like two-five wires going to it. If there're two, you can run a line-converter off that, if there's more, you need to determine what's power and what's signal.I'm just guessing, I don't have an '05 or access to info to it..

It runs off the factory amp under the passenger seat. I'll try to remember to post a schematic when I get home.
