Anyone know the part number for this particular valve? Before I brought my car in for servicing, this particular valve would tick fairly loud. I don't know the name of the part (probably Vapor Pressure Senor) but I do know it is the valve that is on the stock air box near the MAF. It has a blue plug plugged in it. When I heard the ticking, I felt this valve, and it was quite obvious that this part was doing the ticking. I don't know if everyone else has experienced this and if it's even normal. It's possible that my blown head gasket was causing it to tick so loug, so I'm just looking into the part and seeing what the cost of it will be just in case I need to replace it. I'll obviously be pushing my luck with my warranty but just in case, I'd like to have the part number handy and see what the price is. See the file attachment.

I think I'm misunderstanding. i thought you said you disconnect (un plug) the VSV and tie it off. and if that would get rid of that darn ticking (although mine echos off the inside if the CAI, and goes pook, pook, pook not tick, tick, tick) I would do it.
