Hey all.. I've just purchased my 2003 VIBE GT! I love it so far! I visited this website to read your posts and comments before purchasing the car, and I got alot of great information! I'm glad this site is here!I'll try to put on a pic of the car... not sure if I have the IT ability... Does anyone know about putting vinyls on? Where would a girl find cool vinyls?I'm in Calgary, AB Canada and can't wait to rip out to the Rocky Mountains in my new GT!I Alberta METAL!

Hey folks!I guess 'overlays'... to be honest, I know NOTHING about making my 'mummy and daddy' coloured car look hotter! This is funny... my only insight into tricking out cars comes from playing Need For Speed on PS2 - and upgrading my car there... so I'm a big loser! ha ha ha.Some kind of cool 'decal' or vinyl that will make things better... see pick of pretty lackluster colour...

Hi! No problem. I've been playing NFS2 off and on, so I know what you mean. I haven't done much with cars until I got the Vibe and I'm having a ball doing it! Cool avatar by the way!

Sometimes we have a bbq, sometimes we just meet up in a parking lot for a bit and then go for dinner...last summer we all got together and went to Racecity for drag racing Mostly it's just a chance to hang out with fellow car owners and have some fun.

When we have meets down here in SD we usually have a bunch of guys doing different installs (i.e. superchargers, springs, exhaust, etc...). It's a lot of fun and everyone can learn something new!

welcome aboard. i think it's really cool that this board has members from such diverse parts of the continent (and beyond?). the board i read for my previous vehicle was rather restricted geographically. i find it rather interesting to hear about the quirks people find troublesome based on where they live (i.e., traction in snow).

welcome to gvc. you should check out a couple different forums, there is one for the alberta crew. we'll be having an evening get together/meet may 24 (whatever day is tues), then plan to drive up to edmonton on weds to hang out at the mall. my hubby and i will be driving thru from ontario up to alaska, taking a 3 day break to hang out w/ our friends (whom we met on these forums). there is the SUPERMEET in Fenton, Michigan in june, but we'll be missing that one this year. my hubby has an 04 fusion base vibe, i had an 03 satellite gt vibe, but traded that in 2 wks ago for an 05 subie legacy gt. vibechick also traded her base abyss (black) vibe for a black SRT-4 the same day. http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=15711as for graphics, there are plenty around. silentrage is in canada, i think in calgary too. they may be a vendor on vmx. i had some vinyl graphics on my vibe gt from decalkits.com

heh, i haven't seen much in the way of snow since i moved back to texas from michigan. fortunately i'm also far enough from the texas coast that i don't have to worry about salt/rust as much as my relatives down in the neck of the woods where i'm originally from do.

I'd love to come and meet you folks on the 24th!I actually work in the Mortgage industry for a national Canadian mortgage lender - quite a good and fun place to be. SO.. everyone feel free to use me as a point of contact for mortgages and mortgage info! That said.. trucking to Edmonton on a Wed is likely a no go for me, but it would be really fun for sure!
