Anyone here uses the CF TRD Engine cover? If so, can you please be kind enough to show us some pics. I've seen it on
http://www.toyotadepot.ca and was wondering if it was any good. I really don't want to paint mine and it seems Injen only has it for the GT models and not for the Base Vibes. Anyways, just feeling to see what people think of it.Thanks!

Looks like it doesn't cover as much as the oem engine cover. Is this the case? I would have assumed it's the same in size and diameter. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I guess painting the OEM cover with some overlays would be the best direction to go. Would anyone agree on this. Although the S/C does look pretty good with it, but without it, probably would make the engine look naked.

I plan to paint mine and the fuse box cover with the interior trim pieces all to match my purple overlays.

hey I like your billet grills, are those a straight bolt on replacement or do they just go over the existing grill? I'm looking for a direct replacement of my existing grills.

I'm looking for a direct replacement of my existing grills. They used to be on Ebay. I don't remember seeing them recently. They attach to the stock grills with zip-ties. A lot of guys here have them, They have the 4-piece set I have and they have a 3-piece set where the bottom piece covers both sides and the split in the middle like psychobroker has. They were brushed aluminum, but I painted them metallic purple.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33645Yeah I saw those as well, but I don't want to just cover up my existing grills, and was hoping to find a direct replacement bolt on as opposed to a cover. Anyone know if this even exists?

Well, the 2nd link is psychobrokers Vibe that I was telling you about. As far as I know those are the only grills currently available right now. I remember there being some others, but these look better to me anyways and I'm not sure about the availablility of those. You can't tell they're bolted on once you have them attached anyways.

Thanks for everyone's reply. Since I have no other choice but to paint mine, can I take out the cover and drive around without the cover for a couple days while I wait for the cover to be painted, dried etc?

It doesn't really do much other than that, so your engine won't miss it while it's being painted!
