Open Casting Call: Car Show Host TV Pilot

HOST FOR CAR SHOWShow Synopsis:Casting talent for an entertainment show featuring cars. Show will be aired on a major cable station. Looking for outgoing personalities who are witty and irreverent with excellent skills in improv and interviewing. Knowledge of cars and specs a plus, more importantly, have an interest in the role of cars in pop culture. Contacts in the auto industry a plus.Host:We are looking for a host; male or female age 25 – 45. Wry and mischievous! Could be an up and coming comedian, but definitely someone funny and clever who has a strong interest or background in cars (technical, historical, hobby, sales, etc). The show is unscripted and relies on the host thinking on his/her feet and interacting with the other on screen characters. Remember, general car knowledge is key.SHOOT:Initially we are casting for a single pilot show to be shot in August, in Los Angeles. All travel and hotel accommodations for the pilot shoot will be covered by the production company.RATE:Compensation to be negotiated comparable to union scale or better.SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:1. I am not a candidate because I spurn pop culture. What can I say, I'm a pop spurner. Would be so cool if a genviber got the spot though Paul, thanks for letting us know of the opportunity
