I saw a new 06 Explorer on the road today. (I was looking for previous thread on what vehicles have you seen, but could not find it.) The tailights look tuner style, and the grill reminds me of the Audi A4. They did not have any covers on the vehicle, and the lady was checking the diagnostic computer and driving aggressive. I wish I had a camera.

Really!?! 06 Explorer is out already? I wondering release out so early that we're not in 2006 yet. I have seen one on the web but not on road. They're look very sharp.

It had a manufacturer plate on it, and had the laptop pc gathering data. However, they did not have any camo on the vehicle. It was red, and had gray/black cladding on the bottom that reminds me of the Saturn Relay.

Gotcha, oh I see. They must be do some road tests before sale them...

Funny thing I saw today, Was a Yellow Mustang wearing Ford's black camo. the funny part is it was last years model.What was up with that?

A recent episode of MOtorweek on TV had showed the explorer with no camo..Didn't look half bad...But there's only so much you can do with a model that's 15 years old.

I've seen some spy shots of the 06 Explorer in Automotive News. I agree, not too bad looking.

The picture currently on Autoweek.com is the 06 Explorer that I saw.
