I'd seen this guy around town before but today we pulled next to him at a redlight and of course it was on It was a dark red (color?) '04 GT, mods as far as I could tell, he had intake, exhaust, drop, and window tint.Finally got next to each other in traffic (after we lost him on the highway ) and we talked for a minute about the cars.If you're here man, your car looks good

hehe sounds cool. But I've never raced another Vibe owner with mine, mainly all my friends own GTs and mine is a base. Even with current engine and future engine and exhaust mods this year won't put me past 155HP all across the powercurve so still not a match for you GTers.

this is sad, isn't it? even with all the mods we can or want to do (except s/c or turbo), we still can't show them our rear bumper...

That's impressive you talked to him Did you tell him about the site?I've only ran into 3 or so people with modified Vibes that I didn't know. One is a girl with gunmetal rims and she is ALLWAYS on the phone when I see her. One was GT with Borla and tint and he glanced over ONCE then just pretended not to see me. Third person is a pharmasist down the street with black GT with tint. Left him a Genvibe flyer. Maybe I'll stop in and say hi next time.

the insurance wasn't a prob for me between base and Gt (only 50$ a year!!!) the was that I needed my car for December/January (I'm a ski coach), and I was unable to have a GT before May/June. how was I supposed to go to the mountain? bare feet? it's an hour drive from where I lived at that time, and my dad's car wasn't able anymore (would you let your 22 years old son borrow your '03 Infinity G35??? my dad didn't) so I was unable to get a GT. at that time (end 2002) if you remember, you had to wait for about 7 month before being able to have your car going out of the factory... too sad. I think sometimes to crash the car in a total loss accident to be able to have a new Vibe, and pay the difference to get a GT...

Uhh, sorry to be off topic and all, but it shows that there is a pic in this thread. Am I missing something?
