GenVibe - Community for Pontiac Vibe Enthusiasts

I have had a GM Visa card for about...10 years maybe. I recall in the past 4 years they changed the redemption policy....in their favour But I see postings on genvibe from our US cousins indicating that they used many more GM Visa points/dollars than I thought could be used for the Vibe. I thought at most one could use was $1500. Am I missing something? Any loopholes I might be able to pass through?

I believe if you have the original blue GM card (I think it is Mastercard) then you can use all the points. I have the blue card and I used all 3,500 points against my Vibe purchase in June 03, whereas I think the newer cards are limited based on the price of the car.
