So is anyone else as excited for this as I am?Two of my friends should get drafted this year, but probably not until the later rounds. One of them is the kicker from Michigan State, Dave Rayner. And the other is the center from Central Michigan, Eric Ghiacuic (pronounced Guy-check). We're keeping our fingers crossed that they will get drafted on saturday by like the 3rd round, but reality will have them going on Sunday in the later rounds.

Good luck to your friends!! I am indifferent. I know the Steelers will end up picking up another first round O lineman, admitted, it is good for the team, but makes for a boring draft.2500th post! WOOHOO

Now that the Vikings got rid of Moss they need another high profile receiver. Only problem is they have the 7th and 18th picks in the first round. I would like to see them get Breland Edwards or Mike williams but they will probably be gone by then. The only way to get one of them you be to trade up to the 2nd or 3rd overall pick with our 7th and 18th picks. Or I can cross my fingers. If we don't trade up then we will most likely pick up another running back. Then we can have 7 running backs! and still not be able to run the ball! Yay!

I have a feeling that the Vikings might try and target the 3rd pick from the Browns to get Braylon Edwards or Mike Williams. With the 7th pick and some extras to trade with, it's slightly attractive for Cleveland to trade up.

I'm just glad the Raiders will get a first round pick after all. They traded Doug Jolley to the Jets for their pick. And yes, this weekend is like a holiday for me. I'm almost as excited for draft day as I am for the start of the season!

You've got Moss now! You shouldn't need anyone else! Heh, Heh!Oh yeah, I forgot. Moss only plays when he wants to play, squirts water at the ref's, runs down cops with his car, leaves the field before the game ends and fake moons the fans. I guess you will need all some picks to pick up the slack for when Moss is suspended. Ha, Ha! We are going to miss him!

Hopefully Shazor will still be available in the 2nd round for the Lions...

I'm a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan, I hate the draft because all they take is QB's that don't "pan out." Bring on the defense!

They may covet a receiver, or they may be bluffing. Trading both first round picks might be a bit much for either Braylon or Williams - not everyone thinks either is a can't miss prospect.I heard their director of college scouting on the radio today, and he thinks all 3 of the big running backs will be starters. Some people argue that none of the backs that we have is a legitimate starter, so I honestly would be surprised if they draft a RB and get rid of one or two that we already have. If they truly feel that one of these guys can be THE guy, and we can stop the running back by committe process, I guess I'm all for it. We need to get a reliable running game going. If they get a WR with the first pick (without trading), I think they'll go defense with the second. If they grab a RB with the first pick, they'll probably grab one of the second-tier receivers at 18.As much as I hate to say it, I'd like to see them grab the Ohio State kicker in the second round to get a legitimate kicker FINALLY. We make too many calls that are based on a lack of confidence in the kicking game.I'll be tuned in on the big-screen!

Being a KC fan, if I see ANY offense being drafted by them I will get increadibly pissed off. If they draft one of the Iowa guys Roth or Babineaux I will be very happy.Just this once KC, have a good draft, please?

so my friend Eric got drafted in the 4th round as the number 119 pick.he was selected by the Cinci Bengals. GO ERIC!Also, Dave Rayner went to the Colts in the 6th round. He's got one hell of a leg on him, and I bet he will be taking the kick-offs next year from the start.

Average draft for the Chiefs. The question mark for this year was a punter in the 3rd round?!? Those guys are a dime a dozen on the waiver wire every year. They should have used that pick for a saftey. Also they decided to pick Derrick Johnson, a LB from Texas. Not that I am complaining, but I would have like to have gotten either Marcus Spears or Erasmus James instead, both DE. And unfortunatly Miami used the second round pick that they got from the Chiefs for Patrick Surtain to get Matt Roth. Damnit!!!! That guy will be a monster in a couple of years.
