ok, i've had the parts for a while, just waiting for it to warm up outside and this weekend was perfect.xbox is under the driver's seat, and the monitor mounts to a bracket that sticks out of the top of the glovebox. inverter is mounted on firewall above footrest.i'll get some pics posted when i get all of the cords hidden.now i've just got to figure out how to wire the audio into my stereo system.

If you had an aftermarket amp I assume you could run it as an input with the rca's. Or maybe as an auxiliary input?

no, i still have the factory head unit & M&T amp.i'm thinking my only option is an RF transmitter plugged into the antenna lead.

If you have the 1CD factory head unit, you should be able to get an AUX adpater like AUX2CAR.

Yeah, if you just get one of those cheapo FM Modulators, you probably won't get the kinda sound you want. You'd need at least one of the $50 like the JVC available from Crutchfield..plus the adapters to plug it into the antenna line, which is at least another $20. Otherwise, you stand to have a lot of extra static and bleed from the local radio stations that you'll really hear during games..

I'm not totally done with mine, it's just a temporary arrangement. As of right now the xbox is situated under the front passenger seat, but I will be completely disassembling it (as it already sort of has been since I replaced the hard drive and DVD drive for it and put in better ones). I plan I making it so that the DVD drive sits in the the space right below the radio (where the hole for the CD's is) so the disk tray can pop out there for easy load and unload of games. Then the hard drive is going to be mounted behind the glove compartment out of the way. The motherboard for the XBox will probably also be installed behind the dash somewhere. Also the button that you need to press to eject (that is on the face part of the xbox) I will try to move to right beside the LCD in the glove compartment. So basically I'm trying to integrate the system more and be more stable as opposed to one large mass bouncing around under the seat.

If you have already modded your xbox why not put all the games on the harddrive? I've got a 250GB harddrive in my xbox and you can fit quite a few games on it.

I do lol I have several games (Halo, DOA, Crimson Sky, Splinter Cell, etc) on there but I don't want to have to keep taking the hard drive out to download the games onto it, sometimes it's easier to use the disks

Can’t the xbox be put on a network? Wouldn’t it be easier to add a wireless network card, Then connect to your house PC and install games from there, using the wireless link? How did you get the xbox to fit under the seat? I am guessing you moved the amp.

Well it can be put on a network sort of.... it's just that other computers don't recognize it as being there from what I remember. The only way I know of to get games to the computer is rip all the DVD info off with a program and plug the xbox's hard drive up to the comp and just transfer the ripped game info to the harddrive. As for fitting under the seat i didn't have the M&T package so it was never a problem. Although I gotta say playing Halo 2 through the the subs and car system is hilarious When you get on a .50 cal turret in teh game the whole car shakes
