you ask about lives? what about Jobs? I never quite did understand the whole Star Wars thing. I guess there are 2 people in this world. Those who have the force and those who dont care about it. I for one am the later.

i was listening to the radio this morning and they were talking to some of the people there standing in line for the movie already. one of the guys was saying they are raising money for fundraisers while doing it, while others are just standing in line. it was rather funny but a good idea i suppose. he was saying that he leaves in the morning to go home, shower and go to work, then comes back and stands in his designated spot in line. he had booked about 50 hrs so far and had raised a couple hundred. forget what the charity was for, but one of those sponsor the person for every hour they stand inline things.

ha ha! That will probably happen with the people I work with... I can see them waiting in line.... THey were completely shocked when they found out that I have never watched any of the star wars movies, ever... The look they gave me was something along the lines of "how can you not go through life without seeing any of these great films?" lol

"Use the forks, Luke" LOLLike many things, 'Star Wars' is certainly an acquired taste. An estimated 30,000 Star Wars devotees will gather in Indianapolis for 'Star Wars Celebration III' April 21-24, 2005. Some might say that the Star-Warians have become a religious cult! We only get 10,000 to 20,000 Methodists, Baptists, or Christians in Indianapolis for religious denominational conferences and gatherings. Link to details and registration info -->
http://www.starwars.com/commun....htmlIn answer to the obvious question, no, I don't plan to be a paid admission among the throng, but I may go to the Convention Center just to watch the crowds. The costumes are a hoot!

I enjoy Star Wars, I also enjoy sleeping in my bed, not being ridiculed by passers by, not smelling like a hobo's (removed), keeping my job.....etc. These people must really just be waiting for death if this is the best think they can think of to occupy their time.

I would almost be willing to wait in line, not to watch Star Wars, but to see the looks on those peoples faces when Star Wars actually plays at that other theatre instead of the one they are waiting at. Bwahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

I have to say the Star Wars thing is something I have never, ever understood. I've never seen any of them, and I have no desire to see any of them. I don't quite understand what drives people to camp out in line for weeks at a time just to get tickets to see a movie. How about buying them online? LOL I knew people who skipped school to see Episode I the day it came out...and this was in high school!

i hear you! i don't either! i mean, in college, i was a HUGE tom cruise fan and when MI:2 came out, i dragged the ex to the first showing at the theater! but no way would i stand inline for weeks or even hours to go see it! ok, i do admit that i did stand in line for 2 hrs to see titanic, but that was in college and because we had a group of 22 people who we all needed seats together.

I for one love the Star wars movies...but I do not feel the need to do what these fools are doing... there is a fine line between liking something and obsessing over it... I think they've crossed the line a bit....
