First off an introduction! I am a proud owner of a 2004 Vibe GT - Moon & Tunes. I have been a long time reader but this is my first posting. I usually like to hide out in the background and let everyone else do the talking. I was first introduced to the vibe community when my grandfather purchased an '03 Base. I also, at the time, worked for a GM/Pontiac Dealer. It was love at first sight. The perfect vehicle for my needs. As you may have guessed i work at a dealership, but i have since moved to a cleaner and more new facility with a different automobile company. I now spend my days working on Honda's and Mazda's. I am the lead Tire & Lube Tech. So i spend most my days turning a wrench and fixing peoples mistakes. And i love putting 18" and 20" Wheel-sets together. Seeing as this is a site about vehicles i suppose a bit about mine is in order. As mentioned above it is a 2004 Vibe GT - Moon & Tunes with "Quicksilver" Monotone Package. A couple modifications i have done were first of all: Installing a "Red Top" Optima Battery to deal with the poor cranking amps of the stock battery. Second: Tint - Rears i had done as dark as possible a.k.a. "Limo" And the fronts i had done to the legal limit in my state being 43%. And third: Removing the "Vibe" from the sides and rear and the small Pontiac shield from the rear. I am getting an extra set of "GT" trim peices for the Left side so i can match the Right side position on the car. Some future modifications i have planned, in no particular order: Simple, but bold paint work(I have yet to come up with a design i want), Adding the 2005 Rear Subwoofer panel and working out the details on adding a simple sound adjustment(I am more then willing to experiment here when i have the money - for those that are looking into the same thing but want someone else to try it first), Possible I-Pod adaptation(If i buy one), Simple exhaust work - nothing fancy, Possibly... Cold Air Induction(Haven't decided yet - doubt i will for a while)I personally love the stock look of my car, but i also wish to support my friend who is a painter. And i like the sound of a deep growling engine. Not to mention rolling the windows down and blasting the Tunes.Well thats about it.Oh.... And to finish...... if anyone knows how i can get ahold of the person that does the overlays for the rear tail lamps..... Let me know. I would send them money tomorrow if i had an address.

Well that was my friend. I was home bored and we found the mask in the closet. You dont see many vibe owners in utah that are under 50 yrs old sad to say. Most of young kids around here drive Mazda's which helps my business out so i dont complain.
