Baby got her Lift back

OK, she's not really named Baby, in case you were wondering. But, more to the point, I just got back from the shop where they replaced my Rocker Arm Oil Control Solenoid Valve, p/n 88972519 Valve 0.736 WG=6C=J0822=.3 (no, I don't know what that last part means, but it's on my paperwork). Why? Because I lost my lift and my check engine light came on as I was trying to pass a yellow school bus when my GT went *cough*cough* instead of !Vroom!Vroom! and the dealer got code P1693: Rocker Arm Stuck in Off Position off my car's computer. Then I had to wait for parts. Then the dealer got the wrong parts and I had to wait for the right parts. So, now I have my lift back. And now, I can install my CAI. But, of course, it's going to rain this weekend and I do all my work outside. An no, I don't have a name for my GT yet.

Glad to see you got your "Vroom, Vroom" back! Good information for us that have the GT... Thanks!

So basically, the oil valve that controls the cam change over went bad?So what else happened besides the MIL? Were you able to rev all the way up to redline even with out lift? Or did the limiter kick in at around 7000k?
