Yes, that's correct, I am no longer with my Vibe. In all actuality, I thought I'd be glad to just get out of it and get in my new car, but I had this wierd nagging sad feeling when I left it on the dealer lot . . . However, with that sadness out of the way, make way! I bought my new damn car! It's a 2005 Chili Pepper Red Ion Redline. Definitely makes up for that horsepower deficit I was experiencing with my Vibe. Mmm 205 horsepower (at the wheels) is really nice. Very fast. I'll post pictures tomorrow when i get out there with the digital camera.I still can't help but feel like I really miss my Vibe . . . something about that little hatchback thing sort of makes you happy.

SCC got 197 whp, but I've seen some wonky results from their dyno.

Sport Compact Car did dyno the car at 197 whp, and although I can't find the specific thread w/ dyno sheet attached, there have been other cars that dyno up there too; it's not a fluke. And yes, they are a little pocket rocket that will eat just about any Vibe alive don't get me wrong though, still have respect for all you Vibers; they're great cars, just wanted something with a little more speed (I had a base/auto combo ) but now all is well.

However, I tend to get really attached to my cars. I wish you the best in your new car and hope it provides you with everything you are looking for. Best of luck!!!!!

I wish you luck with the new car, too.I'd really miss my Vibe right now if I had to part with it. There's just something about it that I really like. Probably has something to do with my being able to fly down the highway at 110 MPH and the cops seem to pay me no mind whatsoever . I REALLY like that!I've also been getting this semi-paranoid feeling lately that someone is going to smash into me and total my Vibe. I think the biggest thing that scares me is that I can't replace it. I'd be forced to choose a different car if it had to be replaced. I don't care for the look of the '05+ Vibe so far and my '03 GT has just enough power to keep me satisfied for now. Subsequent years have seen the GT continue to lower the power output. That's not acceptable to me so I'd have to get something else, but I have no clue what else I'd get! The only other new car out there right now that I'd really like to get would be a BMW M3 hardtop, but unfortunately, I'm about $53,000 short of buying it .

Thanks all on your well wishes for my new car; I love it, it's fantastic, but I'm positive it'll get me into trouble because it's REALLY fast, doesn't feel like it's going as fast as it is, and handles ridiculously. Oh and for those who were questioning my "205-hp at the wheels" comment, observe, I found my thread I was looking for:http://www.redlineforums.com/f...=1512enjoy.
