We just picked up a brand new (even though it's a 2004) Vibe yesterday. Our first new car, replacing a money-guzzling Chevy Malibu with over 160k miles on it. I can't say it drives like my Maxima (no offense), but I've been impressed with the driving I've done - I'm not the one that will be driving it day-to-day. If I could have my 222 HP from the Max in the Vibe... It should give us a little more room if we need to haul something bigger, and hopefully boost the fuel economy. Our 5 year old's favorite feature is the navigation system - as soon as we get in the car, he says "turn on the map." He now rides with his head tilted to the side so he can watch it. I have to say the Fusion Orange looked mighty nice today after a coat each of Meguiars #7 and #26! If anyone out there is in the Twin Cities area, and can recommend a good place to get windows tinted (preferably SW), drop me a line - don't want to get stuck with any garbage!I haven't spent much time here yet, but I'm learning already! (already let my tires down from 37 PSI)

Congrats, it looks great! My other car (MINI Cooper S) has factory nav and I use it all the time. It's also a good surprise and deligt feature for passengers.

taht's all i have to say to the both of you! (removed)...just kidding.I've never seen a navigation system in action before, how weird is that?Seems like you're into detailing cars? What other cars do you have? I have started up a detailing buisness from my house and I have about 5 cars lined up for April.

I admit the radio does look pretty cool though with the nav system. We were just joking yesterday that I'm the only one in my family that doesn't need a navigation system. I know we'll use it from time to time being in a metro area though. Both of my sisters drive all over Minneapolis for work, so know they would greatly benefit. And our parents drive up to visit from small town Iowa, so lets just say city driving and directions aren't their forte'. Quote, originally posted by Merzbow »Seems like you're into detailing cars? http://www.detailcity.com is a very cool site to go to and get tips I don't go overboard, but I like to keep them looking nice now that we've invested in some decent cars. I have a 2000 Maxima, and when I bought that about 18 months ago, I started reading around to get detailing tips. Between a Maxima forum and I believe it was one on Edmunds, I got a few good tips. I've been very happy with the clay/Meguiars #7/Meguiars #26 combo. You obviously need a chunk of free time and some patience to do that kind of thing.
