Looks like one of the "never wash or wax your car again" things they've had at service stations all over this area. They've got a little kiosk thing set up and come over when you're getting gas, asking if they can clean your car for free to show off this great new product.I told if they touch my car I'd shoot them. (Not really, but I wanted to.)When high-class detail shops start using it, maybe I'll check into it....

I would actually miss washing and waxing my car. I enjoy doing it. I will stick with my Turtle Wax thank you very much.

We have talked about this in the "best car wax" thread to a slight degree. This stuff looks legit, and is actually used to prevent corrosion on some Navy equipment. I almost bought it when I first bought the vibe, but the price made me run for the hills. Check out their homepage and see for yourselves. I don't know if anyone here has ever used it, so I have not heard any personal experiences.
http://www.5starshine.com/Found one of the 5 Star reps postings on a forum. He was very civil even though people were being complete jerks to him. He also explained exactly how the 5 star system works. There is even a $20 discount code on there. When my Tech Wax wears off in a few months, I may try it just to tell eveyone whats up.

ok, I got my 5 star kit in today. I did every step, clay and everything, and (removed)!!! Now granted, my vibe is only two weeks off the lot, but it didn't look this good when I bought it! This stuff makes the paint look and even feel like glass. It is very very shiny. We are supposed to have some rain tomorrow, this is Florida we get alot of rain. I will post to tell you how it held up w/ the rain.

The actual patentAnd I'm not impressed with any paint protection that costs this much... looks like a case of "if you price it high enough - they'll think it's gold"

But it puts me in a good mood to see a filthy bug slaughtered car transformed into a dealer showcase in a few hours. It makes the monthly payment just a little less painful when you're paying for a shiny clean car than a festering pile of bug guts.

Man those bottles look small, if it was as much wax as the stuff i usually use then maybe it wouldnt be as bad. how many wax's you think you'd get out of that?

Good point!
