Pics of my install. I know its a little blurry, have a new camera and still figuring it out. I ran all the wires directly under that radio trim in the lower right corner. Used a Cig adapter and tapped into the power going into the cig lighter on the dash. Thats it, very easy, and more than enough room to tuck all the wires behind and under the radio.

Where I got the wire into the car. After I got it in, I ran it between the headliner and the plastic trim, then under the door weatherstripping to the front, and then between the dash and body where the front of the front door closes.

Looks great! I like the way you ran the antenna cord - looks good outside and sounds like it's hidden well inside, without messing with taking down the headliner!

How is the leg room with a passenger in the car. I was going to mount my sirius radio like that but I was worried about it getting kicked by riders. I have mine installed on the dash. You can check it out here
http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=13911 But I need to get better pics.

Havent yet had wife or anyone else in the passenger seat. I will get a pic of it from the Pass. seat and post. I cant imagine it would get in the way, unless your having a party in your car, or you and the wife still enjoy frolicing in the car like when we were younger!!! It sits pretty high there on the dash. The only thing about that Pro-Fit mount is the amount of material you have to remove from the chrome-plastic trim piece. If you look hard enough in the picture you can see the bottom has popped off, again! The screws they send with it are pan head, I think I May try something like a wood screw, with a head that will sit a little flatter on the mount. Edit: Poopypants, there is a company, Panavise.com, they have a dash mount similar to the pro-fit one except it mounts right next to the radio and uses one of the radio screws to mount. There is a pic of it on their website, but Im not sure how you would go about getting one. From their site it sounds like you have to get ahold of a local rep, and order it that way. I didnt go with it because it looks like it blocks one of the Pass. air vents, and I didnt want to block anything. There is also a company, Proclipusa.com, theirs mounts above the radio and sort of blocks the vent in the radio trim, and the hazzard button.GMJAP; you are right about the headliner, I was not looking forward to having to remove it completely. I did have to pry those two little buttons off at the rear to get my hand in there and fish it through, but after that, I was able to pry and push enough to get it into and between where it needed to go.

I'm actually really happy with the way mine is mounted. Thanks for the info though. I'm sure anyone else going to sirius will find it useful.
