I think the City of Baltimore gets a kickback from the oil companies for their mistiming of the traffic lights ... sure seems I waste a lot of time and gas waiting for all of those mistimed lights.Little Italy is cool ... last week, a restaurant there reduced their prices to 1950's prices in celebration of their anniversary. Couldn't make it ... snow storm!

My wife and I were stationed at Ft. Meade for a few years. I have to agree about the traffic lights. Lost count of the times I cursed at those things.

i noticed the whole traffic light thing during my 3 year stint there too!?!?!I really liked Annapolis (lived just on the edge of it actually and commuted into B'more)Go check it out if you have a chance. Right down at the water in the old section there are some great pubs. Ram's Head tavern is pretty good (brew their own beer!) and we used to hang out at this one irish place...geez, it's amazing how you forget the name of a familiar place after a few years...O'Donnels or something like that....
