I have never really studied this, but I think I went 700 km one day before it came on. The car requires far fewer pit stops than I do.

I know that most vehicles will have about 1-1.5 gallons left in the catch when the light first turns on. So its probly around 4 liters left in the tank.Correct me if you can...but I think its right.

Mine has little yellow light under the fuel gauge. It turn on yesterday, I went to the gas station and put 40 liters on it. So that means it left about 10 liters in the gas tank and we can drive more then 100 km with 10 l.For Canadian owners: On my Vibe I have a yellow ligh and not the Low Fuel indicator. Anyone else has this too?

I have a little dot too. It seems a little too tiny. I wondered if I would notice it, but the old Honda didn't have a light so I watch the gauge by habit anyway.I drive a friends late model Lincoln at times and you would think the car would fall out of the sky when you get below 1/8 of a tank, it flashes messages and loud bongs. By comparison the Vibe is very subdued.

On my Montana, the low fuel indicator was about 1 inch by 1 inch and a bell was ringing when it turned on. The indicator was totally bothered me, which is much better the a little dot in the dash and noone care about it (until you get out of gas).

May be a suggestion to GM

I have an orange light, and whem it comes on, I have about 2 gallons left in mine. I'm getting about 330 to the light coming on. I guess I can go about 375 - 380 miles until actual emptiness.
