Superman's dead. Please leave it that way! Wish they could figure that out, but I'm sure they'll make a boatload off of it and that's all that matters! Depending on casting and storyline, I suppose it could be good. We'll just have to wait and see. And Christian Bale as Batman, I'm not sure about that one. I like him, but I just don't see him as a Bruce Wayne or Batman!

I think they had it right the 1st time.....Micheal Keaton did both Bats & Bruce justice......Jack Nicholson was the most awesome villain ever, and a Prince soundtrack.....what more could you ask for??? ok, someone other than Kim Basinger to play Vicki Vale....http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096895/

Superman Returns Story Details (Spoilers) I just found this on another website and found this very interesting. When Superman goes on his search to Krypton for any survivors Lex is released from prison because there is no one to testify against him, Superman was the main witness. Lex raids the fortress of Solitude while Superman has been away. You might remember that he knows the location ever since Superman II. He strips all the technology that he can and tries to create his own Continent with Kryptonian technology which results in Earthquakes throughout the world. Lois Lane has a kid and the father is Richard White, right? WRONG, the father is Superman. Remember that in Superman II after he loses his powers he has (removed) with Lois. Bingo! You might remember that it already has been confirmed that Supes has been gone for six years, how old is the kid? Exactly, the same age. You might remember those set pictures from Sydney General Hospital that had signs that said "Superman Don't Die." Lex Luthor injures Superman with Kryptonian technology and leaves him in critical condition. Superman needs some sort of transfusion but unfortunately there is no one that has his blood type, or is there? That is where his son comes to the rescue. The blood of the son saves the father! You might remember in that in the past Superman has always been compared to Christ, the whole thing of having adoptive parents, not being from earth and becoming the savior of mankind. I think this is Bryan adding another biblical element, the whole life saving blood stuff. I repeat, these are just rumors that appear to fit the puzzle but stillrumors. Keaton was definately the best. I think Clooney was aweful! Kilmer could have been great if they would not have made his Bruce wayne character so stiff. He is such an underated actor it is pathetic. I think Cristian Bale did a great job as batman. This was the best batman movie since the first Keaton film. Superman could have been worse. Nicholas Cage and Matt Damon both turned down the role.....thank God!!!

Bale was awsome in Batman, it was a very good movie IMO even if it strayed a little from the comic books.a new superman movie, gonna have to see that next year also. Its the return of super heros.

I heard that Bale have sigh contract to 3 or 4 Batman.And Brandon Routh too have sigh for 3.So it will be Batman and Superman legacy.And,a final film Superman vs Batman. on 2010...I don"t know but Brandon Routh appear to be too thin to play Superman.Imagine in the in the movie Superman vs Batman Routh vs Bale,physically will be a real joke.

Now I'm confused... why would superman want to go after batman or the other way around. Now I have read the comics, like Punisher vs Spiderman to name one of a few VS they have done. Personally I REALLY liked the Batman vs Preditor. That was awsome. I settled for the AvP movie though, it was good to. Whats weird is Batman is part of the heros team with superman in the toons... must be over a girl. But really, Batman's got the gadgets but Superman... he only really has one weakness...

eh, the actor for superman looks a little..... weak. i may be disappointed. i can't remember the name of the actress playing lois lane, but she looks different as a brunette. i remember her in that one season hit back in 2000, American something..... it was like a Dawson's Creek spin off. oh well...
