Pontiac dealers don't carry them(!), Toyota wants a whopping $157 for theirs. In contrast, I can get ones made with evolution fabric for regular sedans at my local warehouse store for just $37! I already tried them...not a good fit because the rear roofline of the Vibe is so high. Anybody recommend a good internet source for a decent cover at a decent price? Thanks,Diogenio

That Toyota one might not be such a bad buy if it is a good fit and made from top quality materials. I remember buying a non-custom fitted one for my Grand Prix. I think it was a Technolon cover made from Evolution 4 fabric that cost me about $120, and that was almost 8 years ago. I liked it so much that I bought one for my stepdad to cover his Fiero with the next year as a Christmas present. We still have both covers and they are still in great shape. Custom fitted, top quality covers can sell for over $200.As for the cheap car covers, I believe the old saying "you get what you pay for" to wisely apply. I've heard horror stories of how cheap covers have scratched or worn the surface of the car. If the material can't breathe properly, it can cause mold and mildew buildup. I think it is far better to let the car sit uncovered than to use a cheap cover.
