Is it my web browser? We're sorry Google Maps isn't working properly for you. It should work for all Internet Explorer browsers 5.5 and later. You can also use Google Maps on a Mac, Windows or Linux computer with the Mozilla browser. If you're using one of these browsers and still can't get Google Maps to work, please let us know by clicking the "Send Feedback" link on the Google Maps page and filling out the feedback form. Check that out - being they are still in Beta (test) mode with this, if you continue to have problems, send them some Feedback. It will definitely help improve their system once they release it as a final product.

They are working on supporting Safari so if you're using that browser it won't work yet. Regardless of your browser type, you must have JavaScript enabled to use Google Maps. Hope this helps

Thanks for the tip. Tried it in Opera for Linux but just got a tan rectange, nothing else. Works fine in Firefox. Tried it in Konqueror but got an incompatible browser warning. I then realized that Opera was set to identify itself as MSIE, so that's probably why I didn't get any warning with it.

I like how you can just drag and drop it where ever you want. With Yahoo I think you had to hit the arrow button and then wait for it to load the page again. The satellite image is pretty cool, too bad it doesn't have very good resolution. Wonder if they could ask the CIA really nice to use a Keyhole satellite and read some newspapers from space.
