Just saying Hi. I knew there would be a forum for Vibes somewhere. Couple of questions:1. Do most or all of the Matrix XRS parts fit the Vibe GT (since they are essentially the same)2. Any recommended first mods.Modding my Acura TL is getting too expensive, so I'll start on my new toy. Thanks.

Hey, welcome to the forums. I would recommend getting a CAI first. I think that really would make the lift sound great. And yes, the GT/XRS parts are similar.Inder

Welcome to the Encyclopedia of Vibe!Another Indiana GenViber! Colonel Panic and I frequent the forums quite a bit.Cold air intake, a cat-back exhaust system, and maybe a custom tuned Uni-chip are popular performance mods for the Vibe GT.Last year when I inquired, the nearest Unichip 'tuning' shop was in Cincinnati, OH!For some inexplicable reason, the Toyota and Pontiac cabin air filters are different sizes, and thus NOT interchangeable between any models of Matrix and Vibe.

Welcome to GenVibe! Great to see another GT owner on the boards. My first mod was an Injen CAI. I've also put on lowering springs, sway bars, cat back exhaust, wheels and several other interior mods.

Thanks for the info guys, I'll be looking into the Injen CAI. I was thinking a custom Mangaflow for my TL, maybe I'll get the matching catback for the vibe (if it sounds like the borla, I'm all in).I'm going to try and make the Michigan Meet in June, so maybe I'll see some of you there (my in-laws are in Kalamazoo).
