Ya need to put red LEDs in the recess and set em to turn on sequentially back and forth, like Knight Rider! Ok, maybe that won't work.How difficult do you think it would be to actually vent into the engine bay? RAM Air? I like the looks of that better than the higher profile scoops. Looks nice!

Actually, you can buy pre-made LED bars that mimic "Kit" from Knight Rider...a bunch of guys at work put those behind their rearviews to mimic an alarm system (which of course they don't have).

mmmmm, tastes like nectar I have a question. When you're fdoing body work, like let's say fabricating a new hood. If I wanted to make a hood scoop what materials would I use. I know you would use chicken wire as a frame/skeleton but what would you use to blend to the hood? Bondo is for temporary repairs right?

OK, I give. If it is an OEM hood, how did you cut the notch? Or is that a trade secret.

Great work. Looks very cool.One off topic question though. Where did you find your utility bars for the roof rack? I need a set desperatly.

All I did was cut the shape and folded the skin of the hood downward a bit. Then I welded and bonded pieces of sheet metal for the sides. After that, I used bondo to smooth everything out so it looks pretty. Wasn't too hard. I figured I had a lot of room to play because there is so much space under the hood.As for the roof racks, that is a Yakima setup. I like it cuz its very easy to remove if I want to.
