From today's ads and what I read in the press it appears that GM has increased the rebate on the 2005 Vibe from $500 to $1500 but has eliminated the conquest/loyalty rebate which was as much as $1500 by itself. Ads a couple weeks ago showed a $3,000 total savings ($1000 Disc, $500 rebate, $1,500 loyalty/conquest rebate) on a base Vibe - today's ad $2500 ($1000 disc, $1500 rebate). Actually I can't remember if only the conquest reabte applied or whether it was either the conquest or the loyalty. If either, then the only one's out of luck would have been first time buyers ownign no vehicle. Anyone know what the # of days supply sitation is on the 2005 Vibe compared to other GM vehicles?

These "conquest" "loyalty" rebates are driving me crazy!! Why? why do they have to have them? . How about "never before" rebate?? or "1st new car ever" rebate?..It is making me never want to buy a new car again!...maybe they can lure me in with that one! ..."didnt really want a new car , but got one anyway" rebate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Knowing that some one else is getting a lrger rebate than me on the same vehicle is not going to make me feel good about buying. They should stop the goofy inclusion rebates and just figure out a consistant rebate for eveybody.
