				What is a warrior?

I am in transition from a chorus back to my old unit which happens to be an infantry unit (lol) and my 1st Seargent at my infantry unit doesn't want me because i'm not "a warrior", which raises the question, what defines a warrior?? and going on this and pulling a little star wars into it, do people believe that you can be a great warrior? yoda says no. I'm just doing this for fun cuz i think its funny that i'm not a warrior because i went to the chorus.

Just kick Sarg's (removed)...that'll do the trick (oh, and land you in the brig, but you'd be a warrior! haha)

You will have to ask him how he defines a "warrior" to know...Sounds like a stereotype he has or a personality conflict...

I think that if it were me, I'd have to tell him that it's no use asking him what a "warrior" is. He wouldn't know what a warrior is because it is someone with far more wisdom, insight, instinct, and heart than he seems to have.

oh i know that he obviously has no real sense of taste because he doesn't realize that because i sang doesn't mean i don't know anything about fighting

Warrior definition:1. One who is engaged in or experienced in battle. 2. One who is engaged aggressively or energetically in an activity, cause, or conflictIn my opinion, you do it with soul, energy, and a purpose you can be one. Thats where weekend warriors come in. Your first shirt probly accepts the first definition. He thinks sitting at a desk, giving people paperwork makes HIM one? I may be air force, but I know hipocracy when I see it.

It has been my experience that the ones who judge warriors, are not warriors themselves, but merely little men with an inferiority complex. You will never know a true warrior until the time that he is tested, at which point the battle centers on him, and others flock to follow his lead. Have your stupid 1st barge read "Rogue Warrior" by Richard Machinko....if he can read that is, and maybe he will change his tune.

I don't have people trying to murder me while I'm doing my job, and I respect our soldiers over there immensely. I am just an aircraft mechanic looking for a job on the outside since my career field has been deamed "overmanned". Funny how the 12 hour shifts for the last 3 years didn't feel that way. Hope you have a supervisor backing you up on your problem, since your first shirt doesn't want to do his job. I hope everything goes well for you brother.
