Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT)?

Can anyone tell me what this is, where this is and if possible post a pic of it.Thanks.

It's a little "bulb" integrated into the mass air flow sensor bracket. The mass air flow sensor is held on to the side of a stock air intake box with 2 screws. It has a wide, brown, wire harness connected to it I believe.If you were to take a look at the mass air flow sensor bracket, the iat sensor is the little brown glass droplet looking thing on the side with 2 wires sticking out of it.The purpose of the iat sensor is to measure the temperature of the air entering the engine. It sends signals to the car's computer and allows the computer to adjust the fuel ratio for optimum performance.I don't have a pic, but I hope this helps.

Thanks, Mase.This really helps. I have recently installed a K&N Typhoon Air Filter and I think they referred to this by another name.
