Another Wonderful Problem

Yeah, so I'm coming home today from school and suddenly I start hearing a grinding sound. Like plastic scrapping the ground. So, I'm looking around my car, making sure it's not someone else. Then when I stopped, it got worse. So, I pull over to a Burger King. I look around my car and sure enough, it was me dragging my scid plate on the ground. I'm like, great. So, for now, the plate is just crammed in the bumper. Hopefully I can get my car fixed soon. Man, I love this car soo much. Just been giving me problems since I got it. . And I've done too much to it to get rid of it now, so yeah. O well. This is my story.Inder

Its gotta be your roads...basicly problem free for over a year and still going strong on my silverstar headlights... been a year with those and everyone was like "Hah good luck with 6 months..."You remember hitting anything to knock that down?

The liner of my right wheel well has been deformed for about 5 months...scrapes violently against the tire any time I turn the wheel right...I'll get around to replacing it one of these days...

That sucks man. Hopefully since it's just trim, it can be fixed easily.I know what you're going through, and then some! Love my Vibe, but despite the babying I give that thing, it's still turning into a piece of crap in its old age.

Yeah, the funny thing is that I never gone down there myself to do anything. When I put my fog lights on, I never took the piece off, I just moved my arm inside the bumper to get the foglamp out.Inder

And there was this 1/4 mile stretch of bad road. And I think that's what caused it to come loose. O well. I'ma fix that $hit later. I don't have time this weekend. I have 2 exams, a speech, and a paper. God. Wish me luck.Inder

whats the skidplate look like? My left front wheel well plastic piece pops out frmo the fender lip sometimes but only like a few cm...not enough to scrape anything.

It's the plate that's right under the right fog lamp.

Yeah. I'm not too worried about it right now. I'll just take to the dealership and have them fix it.

Yes. I fixed that as well. My exhaust used to rattle. Found the rattle and got rid of that.

Gotta study this weekend. I got too impatient with those grills, that's why I put those on. But other than that my car is like rattle city inside. Paul can tell you more about that.
