Due to some last minute non-GenVibe related duties of mine, I am skipping the February 2005 VOTM process. The VOTM will return for the March winner, to be further explained later in February. This will give time to get a good set of steps and procedures down for further voting and the nomination process.I'd like to get some feedback from everyone on how you would like to see the VOTM handled. It seems one of the biggest issues is getting the information together (pics, Vibe data) per vehicle so everyone has a clear vision on who they will want to vote for that month. While GenVibe doesn't currently have an image upload area on the site (trying to work on that), nominees would have to upload their pictures individually in the Forums or at an offsite location. So bring on the suggestions, tips, recommendations, etc... if you're aware of the "Vehicle" of the Month process on another car site and you think it would work, please mention it here.Be sure to check out the past VOTM winners while you're at it:http://www.genvibe.com/html/votm/Thanks!-Nick

Nick, VOTM is a great idea, and so far all the cars I've seen are awesome. Let me try to understand, does everyone who is a registered member get a vote, or is it done by the staff (moderators, owners ect)? The 'other' forum I belong to the Member of the month is voted on by the staff, not the general membership, which usuallly means that the MOTM might end up being unpopular with the General Membership. I like the fact the everyone gets the choice between 3 or 4 cars every month.

not really an idea, just a comment that I think the way it's been done worked very well, as far as I can see....

with the current software, maybe a members rides forum, people can have their own thread to do multiple posts/image uploads to describe thier car.
