05 with missing 12-volt Outlet in Floor Console, just a hole behine the flip-up cover, is this a common occurence? Mistake or Cost Savings? Called dealer, they said they would look at it at the first oil change. Called GM, 800-GM-DRIVE and still awaiting a reply after one week. It is still indicated in both the sales brochure and owner's manual.

They whacked the console power outlet off the list of standard equipment for 2005. Do check this thread:
http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=12127You'll have to get it added one way or another... Looks like the wiring is still there, so you would just need the socket.

Welcome to the Encyclopedia of Vibe!Of course I'm sure you've noticed that the GM beancounters also removed the black crossbars from the roof rack on the '05's
