ABS Plastic trim kit?

I am looking at getting a trim kit for my interior as opposed to painting. Acculaser.net has some good kits that I am interested in. The sales rep said the kit is made of a OEM film coated ABS. ABS is Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene. I am not really sure what that is. Can anyone help me with that? I don't think it is a sticker like Vinyl, I almost think it is a snap on cover for the stock trim. Does anyone know about this material and how it works?

Look at your computer, if you have a tower model, chances are all of the plastic on that tower, and surrounding your monitor are ABS. It is a very strong plastic.

Black plastic water pipes are ABS.

Plumbing pipes can be either - but most often it's ABS - especially if it's black for some reason

Most plastic you see, especially on cars, is ABS of varying thicknesses.Very strong stuff.
