I got the Sky Fi 2 bundle deal from XM, but here I am 2 days later, and they STILL can't activate this radio.....I have called 6 different times now, and they tell me stories about their computers being down, my account being locked up because I requested a copy of a bill, my account being locked out because I changed my payment plan during their computer woes, ect.......I can't believe this. I've NEVER had a problem activating a radio, this is my 3rd....and I've helped lots of new car customers here at the dealership do it online.....plus, I have gotten hung up on a total of 3 times over 2 days now.....has XM lost it's shine??

XM has been having problems in the last few days, even though they seem to have problems admitting it. Even people on XMFan.com have noticed it.Plus, they're probably on the end of their temp representative schedule, so a lot of people are probably being resourced.Be patient with them. Customer service for every company always has it's issues, right now, they have more than they were prepared to handle. It'll get straighened out.

Got it on today. They waved the activation fee, and gave me 6 months free service for all my troubles.

SkyFi2...it's ok...got a few features over a SkyFi, but I'm considering trading my wife for her SkyFi.....reason? The new SkyFi2 has white backlighing, where the old SkyFi has REDish backlighting.....

Some people have taken red and/or colored saran wrap and taped it over the display to get a different color. Seems to be effective.
